TIGER PASARYU MARTIAL ARTS

People who wish to earn a black belt in this multi-discipline martial arts must join PaSaRyu. As a PaSaRyu member, you will receive a registration title, certificate and handbook. You learn at your own pace and determine when you are ready to test for your promotion, as there are no predetermined test dates.

 

It takes a minimum of a 4 year commitment to earn a black belt in this program. Unlike other schools where you pay monthly and get your black belt within a year or two. Students are required to maintain a practice log, discuss the PaSaRyu principles and Bushido (honor code) during class, and demonstrate how they are implementing the teachings in their daily lives. Advanced students must be able to lead and teach, in order to advance.

All students practice knowing they are evaluated based on technique, understanding, application, in and out of class, not just during testing. How students prove themselves with their words, actions and character is equally important to a true martial artist, as are the physical things one is trained to defend oneself.
